What? – A team of upto 2 members will be appointed as the CMO of a Retail Chain in an online environment.You will take decisions starting from building the merchandise mix to selecting locations and what promotions to use.How? – Performance of teams would be evaluated through a simulated period, wherein the objective would be to maximize profits while maintaining customer experience. A compounded evaluative score involving ROI, Sales per sq. ft. etc. will determine your rank at the end of 3 years (effectively 3 hours of simulated time).
When? –
a. Demo Round: 21st Jan.
All teams get to play a demo round so that they get a hang of the interface and we can address queries if any.
b. Simulation Rounds: 22nd to 24th Jan. The simulation window will be open for one hour everyday. The team can enter their decision any time during this window. Changes in the market and results of the day will be visible only after the window closes for the day.*Exact timings will be communicated to registered teams.
